What Wordris is
Wordris is a free browser game that combines Tetris with vocabulary learning. You play entirely in your web browser — the game runs on your device.
Information we do NOT collect
We do not ask you to create an account, sign in, or provide any personal information.
We do not collect, store, or share your name, email address, location, or any other personal data.
We do not use cookies for tracking or advertising.
We do not use analytics or advertising services.
Your scores, level, and the words you have learned exist only in your browser's memory while you play. They are not saved on any server and are cleared when you close or refresh the page.
External dictionary lookups
When you earn a word, Wordris looks up its meaning by sending that single word to public, free dictionary services: the Free Dictionary API (dictionaryapi.dev) and Wiktionary (en.wiktionary.org).
These requests contain only the word being looked up — not any information about you. As with any request to a website, the dictionary services (and the hosting provider that relays the request) may see standard technical information such as your IP address, browser type, and the time of the request, under their own privacy policies.
If the lookup fails, the game simply shows the word without a definition.
Standard server logs
Like virtually every website, the hosting infrastructure that serves this game may automatically record standard technical information (such as IP address, browser type, and pages requested) in server logs for security and operational purposes. This data is not used to identify you or to profile you.
Children
Wordris is suitable for all ages and collects no personal data from anyone, including children.
